The ad shows up on the right hand side of the Google window, and only if the Google visitors types in the right words or word combinations. This means you can target the ad to your audience specifically.

How does my Website Profit by Text Ads?

Every day Google receives millions of queries. The average query results in thousands of links. Even if your site is among the numerous results, there is no guarantee that the Google user will visit your website. The great majority of Google users happens to look no further than the first page of query results. If your website is not on the first page, it will not be found.

A text ad for your website does appear on the first page of query results, so more Google users will visit your website. The only thing your website's visitors have to do, is typing in the search words in Google. On the result page of Google your text ad shows up if the search words correspond completely or partially to the key words of your text ad. Now, if the Google user clicks on your text ad's hyperlink, your website is immediately opened and available for use.

What do I have to do to get a Successful Text Ad?

A text ad is (almost always) competing with other text ads which respond to (more or less) the same set of search words. The position of a text ad on the page with query results is determined, for each search term, by two factors:

  1. The popularity of the text ad for the search term.
  2. The fee paid to Google for each click.

Google measures popularity by looking at the number of clicks on this text ad in comparison with other text ads that show up for the same search term.

This means that in the end the effectiveness of a text ad is determined by the advertising text. Google users read the text and decide if they click on the corresponding link. Of course, the combination of search terms for which you want the text ad to show up, and the fee you are willing to pay for each click also play an important role.

What does Solin do?

We also give you advice on the click-through fee for each search term. To guarantee continuous effectiveness, we check your text ad's position monthly. If necessary, we adjust the search terms or click-through fees with your approval.

What are the Costs?

The costs for having Solin manage your text ad are only € 20.00 each month plus additional click-through rates imposed by Google. You can subscribe to a Solin-managed Google text ad service for a minimum of three months.

Instead of keeping a sharp eye on the daily costs of your text ad campaign, you can also specify a daily budget. If the budget is used up, the text ad will no longer be shown. Additionally, you can specify the maximum click-through fee.
